WFMD Mission project

Mission

Promote use of the semantic web in organizational documents . Manage and maintain board meetings, community and website.

Purpose

Our goal is to ensure the WFMD-direction, coordination and management. Its maintainer is also a referee in case no democratic agreement is found.

Information is an infrastructure for communication, a basic service that we aim to enrich with many others in an open community process. We find inspiration from the apache and dublin core projects as they also work in open forums. The main forum for us is our archive and mailing list that is open for anyone. This project holds the responsibility for the site www.wfmd.org and the mailing list.

Goal

A broad information-, knowledge- and document-infrastructure for discovery and overview. This includes:

· Semantic mapping for work flows

· Compatibility with ISO9000, Dublin Core etc.

· Easy use and WYSIWYG document solutions

· Easy search and on the fly overviews

· Broad range of software and management solutions

· Introduction of knowledge flows and perspectives
